Without the contribution of our volunteers, we could not offer the programs and classes we do. Volunteering is the dana of service and supports us in taking our practice “off the cushion.” and a great way to meet other practitioners and have some fun!
At Southsea Sangha we always have a number of volunteer opportunities, and you can contribute either in an ongoing or occasional basis. Currently we need help with the following and some positions can be for-filled remotely so you don’t have to be local to be a volunteer. A lot of our needs can be met virtually.

We are recruiting new trainee volunteers to assist our peer group facilitators. Training begins around September and is an ongoing program.
We are looking for someone with experience of writing and creating press releases and column pieces. Helping with promotion and advertising with online and local press.
Social Media Coordinators
Responding to and managing our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media platforms.
Working with our Admin Manager on visiting teacher events.

Our volunteers are an integral part of what makes both of our community run efficiently. We offer 6 dharma teacher events each year, weekly classes, community projects, monthly dharma series programs and bi weekly classes. How would we manage all of this without these special people?
